As a full service video production provider, we help our clients with each stage of the production process, whether we shot the original footage or come into the project during post-production.
One of the post-production services that we offer is color correction. Whether preparing a project for broadcast, adding a specific color style, or simply correcting an under exposed interview we offer both primary and secondary color correction services for all types of video formats.
Primary Color Grading:
Grading is often a multi-stage or multi-step process. The first stage is often referred to as primary color correction. This is the stage where the image is reshaped as a whole. In this stage we correct images that are under or over exposed as well as address correct color balance issues resulting from improper white balancing or lighting.
We can also create looks that affect or change the mood of a scene, emulating a time of day, or create a more stylized look such as applying a color tint to your images.
Secondary Color Grading:
Color grading also involves adjusting or altering specific parts of the image without affecting the image as a whole. This is called secondary correction. We use vignettes to perform targeted corrections on your images. Vignettes are customized shapes or mattes. We use vignettes to re-light scenes to some extent, add or subtract pools of light, or create shadows that did not exist in the original photography.
Providing a full range of production and post-production services we are able to take our projects from concept to final cut, because we offer all of these services in-house we are able to keep our services affordable.
